PRIVACY NOTICE ON THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

This notice has been prepared in accordance with Article 10 of the Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (the “KVKK”). As Ömer Faruk Erdoğan (“We” or the “Data Controller”), we would like to inform you about the processing of your personal data.

1. Data Controller

Your personal data may be processed by Ömer Faruk Erdoğan, in the capacity of data controller, for the purposes explained below and within the limits prescribed by the applicable legislation.

2. Purposes of Processing Personal Data

The personal data we request, or that you share with us when you contact us, will be processed in order to provide you with our services and to improve the quality of those services. In this context, your personal data will be processed for the following purposes:

• Following up and resolving your request/complaint if you contact us through the contact forms,
• Publishing your comment if you comment on blog posts,
• Informing you about our services,
• Fulfilling our legal obligations,
• Improving and developing our services,
• Evaluating your complaints and suggestions regarding our services,
• Ensuring the security of our website and applications/services.

3. To Whom and for What Purpose Personal Data May Be Transferred

Your processed personal data may be transferred, in line with the purposes stated above, to third parties from whom we receive services, to consultants, to public institutions in case of legal obligation, and to other relevant persons and organisations to whom transfer is required under the applicable legislation.

4. Method and Legal Grounds of Collecting Personal Data

Your personal data is collected electronically through our website and digital forms. This personal data is processed within the scope of the data processing conditions set out in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK. These conditions are:

• The existence of your explicit consent,
• Being expressly stipulated by law,
• Being directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract,
• The fulfilment of a legal obligation,
• Data processing being mandatory for the establishment, exercise or protection of a right,
• Data processing being mandatory for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject.

5. Rights of the Data Subject under Article 11 of Law No. 6698

As data subjects, if you submit your requests regarding your rights to us, we will conclude your request free of charge within 30 (thirty) days at the latest. However, if the process requires an additional cost, a fee may be charged according to the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board. In this context, data subjects have the right to:

• Learn whether your personal data is processed,
• Request information if your personal data has been processed,
• Learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether it is used in accordance with its purpose,
• Know the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred at home or abroad,
• Request correction of your personal data if it has been processed incompletely or inaccurately,
• Request deletion or destruction of your personal data within the framework of the conditions set out in Article 7 of the KVKK,
• Request that the correction, deletion or destruction of your personal data be notified to the third parties to whom it has been transferred,
• Object to a result against you arising from the analysis of the processed data exclusively through automated systems,
• Request compensation for damages in case you suffer damage due to the unlawful processing of your personal data.
